A consulting firm born on the shop floor, not in front of a screen

I am often told my profile is unusual: lean manufacturing, industrial data, application development, production management. These are not four disciplines — they are one, split into stages most companies buy separately, from three different providers who never speak to each other.

On an industrial performance problem, I cover the full cycle: observe the workstation, understand the business need, analyse the data, design the solution, build it, deploy it, train the teams and measure the result. There is no translation layer between the person observing the floor and the person writing the code — because it is the same person.

That experience was built at Renault, Bosch, Fenwick-Linde, SLB and Airbus, across roles as data analyst, SAP consultant, digital and manufacturing engineer, and then production manager. It is that passage through operational management that changes everything: I steered two $20M production lines using dashboards I had built myself.

Ghechi Consulting was founded on that observation: industrial companies do not need another developer. They need a partner who understands their shop floor before proposing a solution.
